Loc8 Codes were developed by GPS Ireland over the period since 2006 and field tested with Garmin since June 2008. During testing they were referred to as PON Codes or PONC through www.irishpostcodes.ie which is now redirected to this site. GPS Ireland is a specialist GPS company based in Cork which delivers solutions to professional users of GPS in Ireland and abroad. Loc8 Code Ltd has been established to deliver and support Loc8 Codes for use throughout the island of Ireland. Loc8 Code is headed up by Gary Delaney who is widely recognised as an expert in all matters relating to GPS. At Loc8 Code, our team is made up of Navigation and Mapping experts, Electronics and Software engineers and experienced Support, Sales and Administrative staff.
